11 in. x 14 in. Poster
Hand-printed on Wisconsin-made Strathmore paper using hand-carved linoleum block.
Madison, Wisconsin, was named after our fourth President, James Madison. It's flag represents the isthmus running through bodies of water with a capital in the center. But, before the land was colonized, it was known by the Ho-Chunk native tribe as Taychopera "The Land of Four Lakes" (Mendota, Monona, Waubesa, and Kegonsa).
